Resources for Supporting Students with Dyslexia and Dysgraphia
🧠RESOURCES FOR SUPPORTING STUDENTS WITH DYSLEXIA AND DYSGRAPHIA
At Oologah-Talala Public Schools, we are committed to identifying and supporting students with learning differences such as dyslexia and dysgraphia. Our goal is to provide the tools and strategies every student needs to thrive academically and emotionally.
📖 What Is Dyslexia?
Dyslexia is a learning difference that affects a person's ability to read, spell, and decode words. It is not related to intelligence, and with the right support, students with dyslexia can achieve success in the classroom.
✍️ What Is Dysgraphia?
Dysgraphia affects a student’s handwriting and written expression. Students may struggle with letter formation, spacing, spelling, or organizing their thoughts on paper.
